Data Deletion
You own your data. This page tells you exactly how to delete it from The Review Engine by X18, and how to revoke the Google access you granted us at signup. You do not need to email us to delete your data. You can do it yourself at any time.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app
- Sign in at /login.
- Open Settings → Billing and cancel your subscription (if you have one).
- Open Settings → Account and click Delete account.
- Confirm deletion. Your refresh token is revoked immediately and all account, location, review, reply, and tone data is purged within 24 hours.
Option 2 — Revoke Google access
You can revoke our access to your Google Business Profile at any time, independent of your Review Engine account:
- Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Find The Review Engine by X18 in the list.
- Click Remove access.
When Google notifies us that access has been revoked, we delete the stored refresh token immediately and purge any cached review data fetched via that connection within 24 hours. Your Review Engine account itself remains until you delete it using Option 1.
Option 3 — Email us
If you prefer, email info@x18agency.com from the email address on your account with the subject line Delete my data. We will confirm your identity, delete everything associated with your account within 7 days, and email you a confirmation.
What gets deleted
- Your user record (email, name, auth link).
- Your organisation, including every connected location.
- All Google refresh tokens, API credentials, and OAuth grants we hold.
- All cached reviews we fetched from Google Business Profile on your behalf.
- All AI-drafted reply drafts, approved replies, and tone presets.
- All audit log entries after a 12-month statutory retention window.
- Your Stripe customer record is retained by Stripe for tax compliance under their own retention policy; we no longer hold a reference to it.
